Keeping the Jazz Scene Hot in South Florida

She has a great working relationship with some of the hottest jazz musicians in the country; booking such greats as Mel Dancy, Ben Collier, Luis Enrique “Kiki” Sanchez, Billy Ray, Howard Moss, Hari Salazar, Von Henry, Larry Pomilio, David Wertman, Hiroshi Yasudaand Cliff Finch. Some others who have appeared with the KCC “family” of stars are Nicole Yarling, The Roberto Rodriguez Quartet and Lola Fulin.

Kimberly is becoming famous for putting together jazz jams with musicians from all over South Florida and the nation. The best of the best in jazz show up every Thursday night at Gil’s Café on Miami Beach. The unrehearsed sessions bring back memories of the great jazz jams in New York’s hot jazz clubs of ‘20s, ‘30s and ‘40s. You never know who might drop by to jam, and that’s part of the fun.
Kimberly is very customer-oriented, always on hand to make sure everything runs smoothly, keeping the drinks flowing, the music playing and the good times swaying. Gil’s Café has a full liquor bar that will quench your thirst. The menu features wonderful selections of Latin and Continental cuisine. The kitchen serves up a delicious variety of soups, salads, pastas, seafood, steaks and pizza. The four-cheese pizza is one of my favorites, with the thin, New York-style crust and full favor of the cheeses making this pizza experience heavenly.
