MANDY y La Clave
Armando Flores known as “Mandy” was born in Newark, New Jersey raised in Miami. Cuban parents. At a young age Mandy discovers his passion for music, becoming one of the youngest professionally working percussionist in the Miami music scene at the age of 16. He has collaborated/performed with well-known artists like Celia Cruz, Albita Rodríguez, Néstor Torres and a number of other icons of the Salsa music scene.
In 2004 Mandy begins to compose and arrange music of his own authorship. In 2016 he puts together his own band calling it “MANDY y La Clave” The band starts as a salsa cover band performing in the different dance venues in Miami. Now in Oct 2023 “Mandy y La Clave” released its first original song “TU NO TIENES CORAZÓN”. That song received over a 100k YouTube views in one month’s time. Mandy continues working on new music that promises to be as dynamic and as his first single.
